Nadia Turner, the talented and diverse artist, "wowed" millions of viewers around the world on "American Idol" FOX TV 4th Season with her beautiful, sultry voice, and unique sense of style. Known for her “great set of pipes” and then “big hair”, Nadia made it to the top eight finalists of more than 100,000 contestants. After one of Nadia’s most memorable performances on American Idol, Judge Simon Cowell stated, "Nadia, in a competition full of hamburgers, you are a steak."
Nadia Turner has performed and made many appearances around the world. In addition to the forty-three city U.S. and Canada "American Idol" tour, she has also performed for several world leaders at the G8 Summit in Japan; a family of royal lineage in Kuwait, the troops in Afghanistan, and the Dutch Caribbean Islands. She has made guest appearances on the Ellen DeGeneres, J. Leno, and the Tony Danza talk shows and has graced the pages of "Glamour", "USA Today", "US Weekly" and "People" magazines to name a few.
Nadia also served as a correspondent for online FOX News and co-hosted on “The View” with Barbara Walters, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Her well known rendition of “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me” by Dusty Springfield can be found on “Showstoppers” the American Idol 4th Season CD which went GOLD, selling over 500,000 copies.
Prior to American Idol, Nadia Turner was a former , and sang the National Anthem for the Miami HEAT, the Miami Dolphins and the Florida Marlins. This summer, Nadia did a solo musical tour in Nashville, Connecticut, New York and Dallas. She recently performed at the Hard Rock in Boston and is performing regularly in the Dallas, TX market and beyond. She also plans to perform in London and South Africa within the next year. Nadia - a singer, songwriter, actress and radio/TV personality - is willing to travel anywhere to share her talent.
